When you became a roman gladiator were you allways a gladiator. Did you retire? allso what games did they do?
I am writing an essey on roman gladiatorsr for my final so i would like to know what games they played and detail if possible and if they were allways a gladiator??
The life of a Roman Gladiator was measured in games, days months but rarely in years. Yes a number of gladitors did gain there freedom through a winning in the arenea, others were allowed to retire. However it was the rare occasion that a gladiator retired.
